Clarity Online SEO, a digital marketing agency based in Seattle, WA, is looking for an SEO Content Writer to join our team. This is a fully remote position with a flexible schedule. Initially, we’re offering a 3-month contract, with the plan to transition to full-time employment at the end of the contract period. The job is equal parts content writer and copywriter, but you don’t need experience in both.

Most of the content you produce will be B2C blog posts, but you’ll also write service pages, location pages, and the occasional landing page, as well as some B2B content. This is not a social media or thought leadership role, but we welcome that experience, and while it’s also not a client-facing role, you’ll have some client interactions. We’re looking for someone with a knack for taking complex concepts and making them understandable while converting readers to customers.

You’ll take a keyword from a concept to a fully-formed piece that supports the client’s goals and matches their tone, voice, and style. We’re small, so you’ll have a lot of autonomy, room to learn, and you can grow your career how you want. We work mostly async with regular syncs, so you’ll be working independently more often than not. You also need to be familiar (or, at least, comfortable) with using AI in your content efforts. Our hiring process is:Interview with the Content StrategistA short writing and editing testInterview with the CEOTo apply, submit your resume, LinkedIn profile, and portfolio.
