We are seeking an experienced, personable, and service-driven Server to join our team. The ideal candidate has previous experience in an upscale or high-volume restaurant, a strong understanding of professional service standards, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Provide attentive, professional, and personalized service to every guest. Demonstrate knowledge of menu items, ingredients, dietary restrictions, cocktails, wine, and sake.

Make thoughtful food and beverage recommendations to enhance the guest experience. Accurately enter orders, process payments, and manage guest checks using a POS system. Follow established steps of service while maintaining accuracy, timing, and attention to detail. Communicate effectively with the kitchen, bartenders, food runners, and fellow servers to ensure smooth service. Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked tables and service stations.

Handle guest requests, concerns, and special occasions with professionalism and care. Follow food safety, sanitation, allergy, and responsible alcohol service procedures. Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of serving experience in a fine dining restaurant required. Familiarity with restaurant POS systems and experience processing orders and payments; Toast POS experience is a plus.

Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills. Excellent guest service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality. Ability to confidently communicate menu details and make food and beverage recommendations. Knowledge of Japanese cuisine, sake, wine, and cocktails is a plus. Dependable, team-oriented, and attentive to detail. Ability to remain calm and efficient during busy service periods.

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Valid California Food Handler Card and California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification required.
