Assmang is looking for a Shift Engineering Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations in their mining environment. This role is based in a mining and quarrying facility, where you will ensure equipment reliability and production targets are met. The position is permanent and requires strong leadership and technical skills to manage teams and maintenance processes effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee maintenance operations to ensure equipment availability and production targets.
- Monitor maintenance tasks and verify results against production goals. - Improve processes by proposing practical solutions and leading team discussions. - Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. - Conduct safety meetings and enforce safety standards. - Manage team performance, resolve conflicts, and ensure quality standards. Requirements: - Grade 12 certificate. - Trade Artisan qualification in Mechanics.
- N4 Engineering Studies certificate. - Valid Driver’s License (Code B or EB) with Dover B Symbol endorsement. - Minimum 3 years of mining experience, with 2 years in a supervisory role.
