The organization is seeking a SOC Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of 24x7 Security Operations Centre (SOC) services. This role will lead SOC Analysts and Team Leads to ensure consistent, high-quality monitoring, investigation, and incident response across managed security services. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity and apply today! Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and manage SOC Analysts and Team Leads to ensure the successful delivery of 24x7 SOC operations.
Maintain appropriate shift coverage, clear escalation pathways, and adherence to established SOC processes and procedures. Oversee the quality, timeliness, and consistency of security investigations and incident handling activities. Coordinate operational response efforts during security incidents, major events, and critical escalations. Provide guidance, support, and decision-making leadership during high-pressure and time-sensitive situations.
Ensure SOC operations consistently meet defined SLAs, SLOs, and customer service expectations. Partner with SOC Engineering and Quality teams to improve workflows, reduce alert fatigue, and enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with Cyber Operations Engineering and Platform Engineering teams to provide operational feedback and drive service improvements. Monitor operational KPIs, analyse performance trends, and contribute to service reporting and management reviews.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on SOC processes, service delivery, and analyst development. Skills/Must Have: Proven experience managing security operations teams within a SOC environment. Strong understanding of incident response, threat detection, and security operations best practices. Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a 24x7 operational environment. Experience managing operational performance against SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong coaching, mentoring, and people leadership capabilities. Strong background in Security Operations Centre (SOC) management and service delivery. Ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams. Excellent judgement and decision-making skills under pressure. Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Drives operational improvements that provide measurable value over time. Continuously enhances team capability, operational maturity, and overall service quality. Salary: CAD $80,000
