Madop Associates - Our client is recruiting a skilled and reliable candidate to fill the position below: Job Title: Solar Installer Location: Ikeja, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar power systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety procedures, and renewable energy technologies.
Key Responsibilities Install solar panels, inverters, batteries, mounting structures, and related equipment. Conduct site assessments and prepare installation plans. Perform electrical wiring and connections according to safety standards and regulations. Test and commission solar energy systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair faults in solar power systems. Carry out routine maintenance and system inspections.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Maintain accurate installation and service records. Educate customers on the operation and maintenance of their solar systems. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to complete installations efficiently. Requirements Minimum of OND, Trade Test Certificate, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in solar installation, electrical work, or renewable energy projects. Knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and electrical wiring. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical diagrams. Familiarity with safety procedures and electrical standards. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Physical fitness and ability to work at heights when required.
Strong communication and teamwork skills. Salary N100,000 - N120,000 / month. Application Closing Date 30th July, 2026.
