To Apply for this Job Click Here Job ID: 864886 Estimated Weekly Gross: $1,810.41 Job Title Travel – NICU Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Location Houston, TX | Acute Care / NICU Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Days | Onsite Key Responsibilities Evaluate speech, language, and swallowing abilities of neonatal and pediatric patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from premature birth, birth injuries, disease, or other causes Synthesize assessment data to establish individualized plans of care through evidence-based practice interventions and goals appropriate to each patient’s age and developmental stage Perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) as part of dysphagia evaluation and management Collaborate and interact with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to implement and assess intervention programs Float across NICU, Pediatric, and Adult units as needed Complete all other duties as assigned in a timely and high-quality manner Required Qualifications Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Current Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology Minimum 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist Neonatal (NICU) experience required — candidates without this will not be considered Proficiency with Modified Barium Swallow Studies required — candidates without this will not be considered EMR experience; familiarity with Meditech Magic or Meditech Expanse a plus Preferred Experience / Skills Pediatric therapy experience Adult therapy experience Strong self-motivation, initiative, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a specialized NICU environment within a high-volume women’s and neonatal care facility, gaining valuable experience across neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations Consistent daytime schedule with no weekend or on-call requirements, offering a stable and predictable work-life balance during your assignment To Apply for this Job Click Here
