We are looking for a Sr Technical Designer or Product Development expert! This is a full time position offering 401K and medical benefits. Only qualified candidates need apply!!! ***SALARY REQUIREMENTS & RECENT SALARY MUST BE INCLUDED FOR CONSIDERATION *** Please detail your recent Tech Design or Product Development experience with denim, woven and knits... preferably an expert in either denim OR woven/knits.
RECENT expertise is required for this position including an extensive technical background being able to produce, update and manage tech packs, flats, specs, grading, fittings and all other technical management. Also please provide an example of challenges you have overcome in your experience. ___________________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________________ THIS IS A HANDS-ON MANAGEMENT POSITION REQUIRING TECHNICAL EXPERTISE!
Manages processes and procedures to maximize calendars at all times Directs requirements for information related to samples and product to be correct and complete Creates and updates technical packages for production once a new style is approved or when an existing style has been modified Oversees specifications according to manufacturing requirements Proactively enforces that all technical packages and product development details are accurate and completed timely and efficiently Continuously updates, improves or creates forms and procedures to improve work flow and efficiency within Technical and Development Departments Must be familiar with in-house, offshore and third party processes including improvements Travel may be required REQUIRES ADVANCED TO EXPERT IN ILLSTRATOR & PHOTOSHOP Stays current in knowledge and skills with all company software and industry evolutions JOB REQUIREMENTS • Must have 5 to 10 years experience with in depth technical and management skills • MUST HAVE>>> advanced knowledge of denim, knits, woven, pattern making, tech packs, flats, sewing computing fabric yields, and all other technical or development tasks • Possess advanced capabilities in multi- tasking (i.e.
Set, Track and Monitor all technical and product development, meet sample/technical deadlines, and supervise sample/technical tracking) • Degree or Certification in Fashion Design, Garment or Textile Manufacturing preferred • Microsoft Office & Apparel Software (MAC a plus!) • Time management and analytical processes • Extremely well organized and detail oriented • Problem solving skills and solution-oriented management techniques Please submit resume through Malakye.com
