Support Workers – Mullagh House, Limavady MPA Recruitment | Temporary Ongoing | Flexible Working Opportunities MPA Recruitment is seeking compassionate, dedicated and motivated Support Workers to join our team at Mullagh House, Limavady, on a temporary ongoing basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to support individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs, helping them develop independent living skills, achieve personal goals and enjoy a fulfilling life within their community.
Key Responsibilities Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs and care plans. Promote independence with daily living skills, personal care and domestic tasks, where required. Encourage social inclusion, community participation and meaningful activities. Monitor and report changes in health, wellbeing or behaviour. Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and other professionals.
Ensure support is delivered in line with relevant care standards and policies. Essential Criteria Applicants must meet one of the following: Option 1 QCF/NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent. At least six months' experience in a formal care or support role. OR Option 2 At least two years' experience in a formal care or support role. Willingness to work towards a relevant Health and Social Care qualification.
All applicants must also have experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs, previous administrative experience, and current NISCC registration or a willingness to register within six months.
