To Apply for this Job Click Here Job ID: 897271 Estimated Weekly Gross: $1,512.84 Job Title Surgical Tech Location Louisville, KY Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | Onsite Key Responsibilities Assist members of the health care team in the delivery of patient care during the intra-operative period, with a focus on preparation and handling of instrumentation and surgical equipment Assist the surgeon directly during surgical procedures Maintain aseptic technique in the performance of all surgical duties to support positive patient outcomes Perform sponge, sharps, and instrument counts consistently according to policy and procedure Administer care and apply equipment knowledge based on the age and needs of the patient population served, from neonate through geriatric Recognize and respond appropriately during urgent or emergency situations Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Minimum of two (2) years of Surgical Tech experience BLS certification required CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required Basic knowledge of medical terminology, the metric system, and aseptic technique Why Join Us Opportunity to work within a dynamic surgical environment supporting a broad patient population across a variety of procedures and specialties To Apply for this Job Click Here
