As a Technical Assistant at a friendly family-run organisation in Geraardsbergen, you’ll find a role where technology, structure and working with people come together seamlessly. In this role, you’ll be a key link between customers, suppliers, production and the team on the shop floor. Your responsibilities: • Placing orders with suppliers and/or the production department; • Independently drafting and technically preparing projects; • Monitoring and correctly applying technical specifications for windows and doors; • Acting as the point of contact for assigned projects involving, amongst other things, aluminium and timber; • Maintaining contact with suppliers and customers in a professional, solution-oriented manner; • Contributing ideas for practical solutions and monitoring the progress of projects; • Occasionally provide support in the showroom for private customers, without this becoming your main task; • Work alongside colleagues in a close-knit team where a hands-on approach and quality go hand in hand.
