To Apply for this Job Click Here Job ID: 896398 Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,132.33 Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry (Nights) Location Lansing, MI | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift | Onsite Key Responsibilities Continuously monitor patients’ vital signs and cardiac rhythms using automated telemetry equipment, including EKGs Provide specialized nursing care to acutely ill patients stepping down from intensive care who require close observation Assess and manage patients with heart disease and other serious cardiac or medical conditions Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, initiating appropriate interventions in a timely manner Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using the facility’s EMR system Required Qualifications Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 2 years of RN Telemetry experience NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) training required BLS certification (American Heart Association) required Candidates with a permanent address within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers and may be subject to an adjusted travel rate Preferred Experience / Skills ACLS certification preferred Experience with Cerner EMR Background in cardiac monitoring within a tertiary or teaching hospital environment Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a well-established tertiary teaching hospital environment featuring advanced cardiac programs and state-of-the-art clinical centers Gain experience in a high-acuity telemetry setting alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to complex patient care To Apply for this Job Click Here
