Job Title: Verification of Benefits on PVerify.com Monthly Rate: $4.25 Start Date: ASAP Full Time ONLY ACCEPTING APPLICANTS IN THE PHILIPPINES Position Overview: The VOB Virtual Assistant will be responsible for verifying patient insurance coverage, obtaining benefit details, processing authorizations, and ensuring accurate documentation. This role is fully remote and requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience working within healthcare insurance workflows.
Key Responsibilities: Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility Contact insurance companies via phone and online portals Gather information regarding copays, deductibles, covered services, and authorization requirements Submit and follow up on prior authorization requests Track authorization expirations and renewals Coordinate with clinical staff for necessary documentation Maintain accurate records in EHR/billing systems Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years experience in medical billing, insurance verification, or healthcare administration REQUIRED: Experience using PVerify.com Strong understanding of insurance terminology and benefit structures Excellent verbal and written communication skills Detail-oriented and highly organized Comfortable using spreadsheets, CRMs, and insurance portals Reliable internet connection and professional remote work setup Hardware and Software Requirements: Hardware: AMD Ryzen 3 3200G APU or Intel Core i5 (at least 8th gen) Intel CPU 16GB DDR4 RAM and 120 – 480gb SSD Jabra Biz 1100 / Logitech H390 or similar Noise-canceling Headset 1 – 2 Monitors (at least 21in) 1080p HD Webcam Internet Speed: 50mbps (Fiber/DSL) LTE not accepted Software: Genuine Windows Licensed Computer Microsoft Office Suite
