Title: Workday Extend developer - IntegrationsWork Location: Chicago, ILJob Type: ContractWork Type: RemoteDuration: 6 MonthsPay Rate: $50-50/HourlyOverview: TekWissen is a global workforce management provider headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan that offers strategic talent solutions to our clients world-wide.Job Description:Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement custom applications and extensions using Workday ExtendCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specificationsWork closely with Workday functional teams to ensure seamless integration of custom solutionsParticipate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectivesDevelop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guidesPerform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and functionality of custom solutionsTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to custom applications and extensionsStay up-to-date with Workday updates and new features to continuously improve and optimize custom solutionsProvide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed applications and extensionsQualifications: Minimum of three years of experience in Workday Extend developmentStrong understanding of Workday architecture and integration capabilitiesProficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, XML, and XSLTExperience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile methodologiesExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team“Must-have” skills and years of experience: Workday Integrations (2-3 years)Workday Extend (2-3 years)Preferred Qualifications: Workday certification in Extend or other relevant areasExperience with Workday StudioKnowledge of HR processes and systemsFamiliarity with REST and SOAP APIs“Nice-to-have” skills and years of experience: PRISM Education needed for this position:Bachelor's or Associate's Industry experience needed for this role and why:Workday Extend is a very specific skillset, candidates without the proper experience in Workday Extend in HR implementations won’t be considered.TekWissen® Group is an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity.Are you looking for remote jobs near your area?
