Cleaning and Sanitation : Maintain cleanliness of the dish area, floors, and kitchen workspace by sweeping, mopping, and wiping surfaces. Waste Management : Properly dispose of garbage and recycling materials, ensuring cleanliness in waste areas. Restocking : Assist in restocking clean plates, glasses, silverware, and other necessary items for kitchen and dining use. Equipment Maintenance : Operate, maintain, and ensure the cleanliness of dish washing equipment according to safety and health regulations.
Team Assistance : Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks and any additional duties as needed to maintain a smooth kitchen operation. Compliance : Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications: Physical Ability : Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, bend, and reach throughout the shift. Work Ethic : Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and a willingness to take direction.
Teamwork : Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Experience : Previous experience as a dishwasher or in food service is preferred but not required. Availability : Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Work Environment: Fast-paced kitchen environment. Exposure to hot water, dish washing detergents, and various kitchen equipment. May involve lifting heavy items and operating dish washing machinery.
