About the job: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing business operations, identifying trends, and providing data-driven insights to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. This role requires expertise in logistics, supply chain management, and data analytics. Responsibilities: Analyse freight forwarding operations, supply chain processes, and financial data to identify areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain dashboards & reports. Identify market trends, customer demands, and operational inefficiencies. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose process optimizations. Conduct cost-benefit and risk analysis for business decisions and process changes. Work with IT teams to enhance data management and implement automation tools. Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on data insights.
Assist in pricing strategies and cost reduction initiatives. Monitor compliance with regulatory and industry standards in freight forwarding. Support business development efforts with market analysis and competitive research Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Statistics, Business, Logistics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and present findings to senior management. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
