Our client PostEx is looking for Senior SQA Engineer in Lahore. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for fintech applications. Perform manual testing of web and backend systems to ensure product quality and reliability. Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or similar platforms to validate integrations and data flow.
Validate end-to-end transaction flows , ensuring accuracy in payment processing and system responses. Analyze and verify payment routing logic , ensuring transactions are processed through correct channels. Perform testing on tokenization mechanisms and ensure secure handling of sensitive financial data. Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to identify and resolve defects. Develop and maintain automation test scripts using tools such as Cypress or Playwright.
Participate in regression, integration, and system testing cycles . Identify performance bottlenecks and potential risks in financial workflows. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for fintech applications. Document test results, defects, and provide clear reports to stakeholders. Required Skills & Qualifications 3–5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, preferably in fintech or payment gateway environments Strong experience in manual testing and API testing Proven expertise in transaction flow validation and payment routing systems Hands-on experience with tokenization and financial system workflows Experience with automation testing tools such as Cypress or Playwright Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and system integrations Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for data validation Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp, or similar) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail with a quality-first mindset Preferred Qualifications Experience working with payment gateways, wallets, or digital financial products Understanding of PCI-DSS compliance and security standards Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration Basic knowledge of scripting/programming (JavaScript preferred for automation tools)
