Automation Tester – Selenium

Experience: 4+ years in software testing, with hands-on automation experience in Selenium Location - Changi Business Park (East) Nature of Role - 1 Year Fixed Term Contract Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver. Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for web applications. Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java or another relevant programming language.

Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases. Execute automated test suites, investigate failures, and work closely with developers to resolve defects. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. Track defects and testing activities using tools such as Jira. Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.

Continuously improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall software quality. RequiredSkills Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver. Good programming/scripting skills, preferably Java. Experience with testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit. Knowledge of automation framework design, including Page Object Model (POM) and reusable test components. Experience with API testing, preferably using Postman or REST Assured.

Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins. Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Experience in defect management and tracking using Jira or equivalent tools. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Good to Have Experience with Cucumber/BDD frameworks. Knowledge of SQL and database validation. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Banking or financial services domain experience would be advantageous.
