C++ Developer — Kafka & kdb+ Location: Singapore Employment term: 12-month renewable contract We are hiring a C++ Developer to build and support data-intensive applications for a global financial services client. The role involves working with Kafka-based data streams and kdb+ in a production environment. Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using C++. Build and support integrations between C++ applications, Kafka, and kdb+.
Process and analyse high-volume data streams, with attention to performance and reliability. Troubleshoot application and data issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes. Work with engineering, support, and business teams on new features and system improvements. Participate in testing, code reviews, documentation, and production support. Requirements Professional C++ development experience in a Linux or Unix environment.
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and kdb+ . Understanding of multithreading, data structures, and application performance. Experience debugging production applications and working with data pipelines. Good communication and problem-solving skills.
