Well Established Company Basic: $ 4500 to $ 5500 + AWS + Variable Bonus 14 days Annual Leave + 14 days Medical Leave FULL Medical Fee Reimbursement Group Insurance Coverage Lunch subsidy (for internal orders) Transport provided (to/from MRT: Boon Lay/Choa Chu Kang/Bukit Batok) 5-day work week (Mon–Fri: 8.15am – 5.45pm) Job Responsibilities: Design Low Voltage (LV) switchboards, Motor Control Centres (MCC), control panels, and electrical consoles according to customer specifications and company standards.
Prepare approval drawings, shop drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation using AutoCAD. Review project specifications, electrical drawings, and customer requirements to ensure accurate design and compliance. Prepare material requisition lists and Bills of Materials (BOM) for production. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal departments on technical clarifications and design requirements.
Work closely with the Production team to ensure smooth fabrication and resolve design-related issues. Support the Sales team by providing technical information and design solutions during project discussions . Ensure designs comply with company quality standards and relevant electrical codes. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design quality, efficiency, and productivity.
Perform other duties assigned by the superior. Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years of experience in the electrical design of LV switchboards, switchgear, MCC, control panels, or power distribution systems. Experience in a switchboard manufacturer, panel builder, or electrical equipment manufacturing environment will be highly preferred.
Proficient in AutoCAD and able to interpret electrical schematics and single-line diagrams (SLD).
