Senior Project Engineer (MRT Projects)

Japanese MNC A1 Main Contractor Basic from $4,500 to $7,500 + AWS +Bonus Location: Ang Mo Kio Responsibilities Manage and oversee daily engineering and technical activities on site. Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. Review and coordinate construction drawings, method statements, shop drawings, and technical submissions. Liaise with consultants and relevant authorities on technical, design, and site matters.

Monitor construction progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Identify and resolve technical issues and discrepancies encountered during construction. Prepare and review RFIs, technical reports, progress updates, and other project documentation. Coordinate construction activities and assist in resolving site and technical issues.

Assist the Project Manager in project planning, coordination, and overall project delivery. Requirements Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline. Relevant experience in civil construction for MRT, railway, or tunnelling projects preferably with A1 main contractors. Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management and relevant regulations.

Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
