TRANSPORT OPERATIONS MANAGER

Job Summary Oversee and optimize fleet and logistics operations for construction projects, ensuring timely delivery, compliance, and effective stakeholder coordination to support project success. Responsibilities Oversee all fleet management and transportation activities to ensure efficient support of construction projects Verify purchase requisitions from project teams by clarifying unclear items and recommending suitable alternatives Coordinate transportation, storage, and distribution of construction materials and equipment to project sites Develop and implement logistics strategies that ensure timely delivery and resource optimization Collaborate with project managers and suppliers to enhance logistics operations and resolve issues Coordinate and manage multiple stakeholders in highly classified areas to maintain operational integrity Monitor and track construction material inventory levels to ensure accurate stock management Manage and optimize logistics resources, including vehicles and manpower, to maximize efficiency Ensure compliance with safety standards, client regulations, and company policies in all logistics activities Prepare and analyze logistics reports to identify operational improvements and implement solutions Resolve escalated operational issues by coordinating with relevant departments Perform additional duties as assigned to support logistics and project objectives Required competencies and certifications Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Transportation, or equivalent Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in fleet or transportation management Preferred competencies and qualifications Valid Class 4 (forklift) license or higher
