We are seeking an experienced Cloud & DevOps Engineer to join a global technical initiative focused on migrating and hosting mission-critical Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) on modern Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will lead the infrastructure deployment, container orchestration, and continuous delivery pipelines for a core enterprise Java application provided by a major third-party software vendor.
Your primary impact will be driving platform automation, system reliability, and observability rather than writing business application code. Professional Background: Min. 4–5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, and DevOps methodologies. Primary Cloud Focus: Advanced hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure , with deep familiarity in cloud-native services, networking, and AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) .
IaC & Automation: Proven proficiency in Terraform (or Pulumi) for Infrastructure-as-Code, along with Configuration Management tools (Chef or Ansible). Continuous Delivery: Demonstrated experience with GitOps and modern CI/CD tooling, particularly Jenkins and ArgoCD . OS & Scripting: Strong expertise in Linux-based environments and scripting languages ( Bash, Python, or Go ). Observability: Practical experience setting up metrics, logging, and dashboards via Prometheus & Grafana .
Desirable / Nice-to-Have Experience in regulated industries (Pharmaceutical, MedTech, or Biotech) or working with enterprise manufacturing execution systems (MES). Exposure to distributed messaging systems (RabbitMQ) or specialized enterprise print services (CUPS).
