Lipscore makes it measurable. Must have 2–4 years of professional software development experience, working on production applications Strong experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and practical experience working with relational databases Good working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and experience with frontend development Experience designing and working with REST APIs and third-party integrations Practical understanding of application performance, database queries, caching, and common production issues Experience writing and maintaining tests with RSpec Ability to investigate bugs and production issues independently and take a task from investigation through implementation and deployment Good understanding of software engineering fundamentals and ability to write maintainable, readable code Good written and spoken English for day-to-day communication in an international team Nice to have Experience with background jobs and asynchronous processing, ideally Sidekiq and Redis Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools as part of the development workflow
