Type: Per Diem Job Shift: Rotate Holiday Rotation: Department: DOU Reporting to the Nursing Director of the assigned area. Performs duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN)/Charge Nurse. Responsible for providing high quality individualized basic care activities within the Nursing Assistant scope of practice Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. Minimum Education: High School Diploma required Minimum Experience/Skills: One (1) year recent Acute Care experience preferred Licenses/Certificates/Credentials: Must possess and maintain throughout the duration of employment: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Provider issued by the American Heart Association Current CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training (or must obtain within 90 days of hire/transfer) Certified Nursing Assistant license preferred #LI-AR2
