Tony’s Market Job Description Title Deli Customer Service Department(s) Deli Reports to Deli Manager Job summary Responsible for performing a variety of food preparation duties including fulfilling catering orders and preparing Tony’s To Go orders. Summary of essential job functions: Immediately greets all customers and ensures customer satisfaction Clean work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware.

Wash, peel and/or cut various foods to prepare for cooking or serving. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen utensils and equipment. Wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables to prepare them for recipes. Store and label food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage. Prepare a variety of foods according to customers' orders or supervisors' instructions, following approved procedures.

Package take-out foods or serve food to customers. Inform supervisors when supplies are getting low or equipment is not working properly. Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed, and provides cook with needed items.
