This position sets up and runs welding production while maintaining the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, all while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Qualifications Responsibilities: Read and interpret job specs to determine machine adjustments and weld times Check and verify parts meets specifications and quality tolerances Detect and report any defective product being produced or already produced.
Communicate issues to supervisor (i.e.. equipment issues, maintenance needs) Use various inspecting techniques and tools; tape measures, calipers, protractors and weld gauges to check the conformance of produced parts Performs paperwork requirements and other duties as assigned and writes legibly Must keep a clean workstation, free of wood, bands, trash, and defective parts. Meet company production standards.
