Job Title: Pipefitter Job Description We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team for commercial construction projects throughout Columbus, OH. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems according to project specifications and safety standards. This is a full-time position with first shift hours from Monday to Friday. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair piping systems according to project specifications and safety standards.

Cut, thread, shape, and fit pipe to required measurements. Assemble and install pipes, valves, fittings, and related equipment. Perform layout and welding of steam, condensate, hydronic, and process piping systems. Inspect and test piping systems to ensure functionality and quality. Troubleshoot and repair piping system issues. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Essential Skills Pipe fitting Construction Piping Threading Brazing Pipe installation Fitting Piping installation Commercial construction Blueprint reading Pipe welding Plumbing Additional Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of pipe fitting experience Experience working on commercial construction sites OSHA certification is preferred Ownership of hand tools Personal protective equipment including hard hat, steel-toed boots, glasses, gloves, high visibility attire, etc.

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with shifts starting at 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, or 7:30 AM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
