Assistant Manager | Time Saver North

Success in an Assistant Store Manager: Direction from Store Manager/Replaces Store Manager when Absent The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for getting updates and direction from the store manager upon arriving for their shift. This role maintains the manager role when the manager is absent. This role is responsible for the daily checklist and making sure each task is complete. The Assistant will take direction from the Manager and delegate tasks accordingly.

The Assistant will help to maintain accountability for all daily tasks within the store. These tasks include but are not limited to receiving orders, invoices, salesfloor, cooler, cleaning, trash and bathrooms. This role is responsible for entering invoices and using handhelds to check in orders, reconciling and attaching all to S2K. The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for making liquor orders, Cash Wa orders, and salesfloor ordering/supplies.

This role is responsible for running errands for the store when needed. Team Development This role is responsible for assisting in the training and mentoring of new hires or candidates eligible for promotion. The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for helping the manager to recognize potential leaders and promoting/mentoring them into leadership roles. This role is responsible for helping to oversee processes and procedures that have been put in place and making sure to assist in educating the team accordingly.

Team/Servant Leadership This role is responsible for setting up and communicating with all shifts. The Assistant is responsible for being a servant leader to the team and supporting the leadership of the Store Manager. The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for positive communication with the team that maintains a supportive working environment. This role is responsible for helping to foster culture in the store that services the guest above and beyond their expectations.

Executing on Brand Standards This role is responsible for executing on brand standards developed and communicated by the President, Vice President, and Director of Operations of the Travel Centers and C-Stores. The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for helping to communicate and educate the Subway brand standards to the team and supporting a cohesive culture promoting and adhering to these standards.

This role is responsible for upholding the company dress code. Maintaining proper grooming and daily hygiene is expected. Honest. Hardworking. Team member of Wilkinson Companies Active member of the Wilkinson team that assists in diligently executing daily operations of the store and works to maintain consistency for the team. Active member of the Wilkinson team that communicates and upholds store quality and safety standards.

Active member of the Wilkinson team that provides positive team mindset and maintains team accountability. Must be willing to be Class C certified for UST fuel certification. Must be willing to take RBST training as required to sell tobacco and alcohol. Must be willing to be FoodSafe certified. Retail and/or guest experience preferred. Wilkinson Development will incur costs of all required training
