Day Camp Counselor - Clippard Family YMCA

Key Responsibilities: Dive into the excitement and supervise our amazing campers. Plan and lead activities that are cooler than a polar bear in sunglasses. Attend staff meetings and trainings—because knowledge is power! Maintain safety and cleanliness standards Follow YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention and emergencies.

Maintain positive relationships with parents and staff. Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Must be 18 and over. High School Diploma or equivalent (it's the thought that counts) where applicable. Experience with kids, preferably in a day camp setting. Current First Aid and CPR-Child certifications (superhero training included) must be maintained throughout employment Completed YMCA Child Abuse Prevention training upon hire Must be at least 18 years of age, with high school diploma or equivalent.

Must meet all licensing requirements as determined by state & local governments. Previous experience working with children is preferred. CPR & First Aid certifications must be obtained/maintained throughout employment.
