JOB SUMMARY: The Student Recreation Center at Vincennes University is seeking applicants for their everyday staff positions. Positions to be filled are student part-time hourly and work-study positions. Shifts will be a variety of morning, afternoon, evening and weekends. REPORTING: This position will report directly to the Director of Campus Recreation and Facilities. GENERAL HOURS: Part-time Employee – 28 hours/week DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: · Clean and Disinfect all equipment · Work at a variety of different locations in the Recreation Center or P.E.

Complex · Set-up or tear down for events in a timely manner · Enforce all Recreation Center rules, policies and regulations · Inspect the Recreation Center and report unsafe conditions/equipment to the Shift Leader · Become familiar with all equipment in the facilities · Refrain from socializing while on the clock · Attend and participate in all meetings/training · Answer any questions from patrons QUALIFICATIONS: · High School diploma or GED – required LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: · First Aid, BBP (Bloodborne Pathogens), CPR and AED certification – preferred, but not required Interested applicants should submit a Vincennes University application, cover letter, resume/cv, and full contact information for three professional references.
