Nurse Aide

Nurse Aide in Hospital Full-time night shifts, 12-hour shifts This position is responsible for providing nursing care and support to patients under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in a defined care team and in accordance with assigned tasks. Care for patients with a variety of acute to critical medical/surgical problems. Activities will vary with patient needs. Decisions affect patients, their families, physicians, and other staff members.

Must be able to work independently. Nurse aide/CNA experience is preferred but not required. Must possess strong organizational skills. Must be able to work independently. Must be able to interact appropriately with patients and their family members. Must be able to answer questions or direct questions to the appropriate personnel. Must possess the ability to assess the patient and report to the patient's nurse.

HS diploma or GED.
