Orthodontic Assistant

The Orthodontic Assistant collaborates efficiently with the orthodontist and team to deliver a high standard of care to every patient. This role is responsible for providing chairside support during all orthodontic procedures while ensuring patient comfort, exceptional service, and a positive experience that fosters long-term relationships and patient retention. The Orthodontic Assistant also supports the overall operational success of the practice through teamwork, organization, and a commitment to clinical excellence.

Hours: Mon – Thurs; 7:30 am – 5:00 pm | Fri; 7:30 am – 1:00 pm Job Type: Full-time Location(s): Wausau (primary location) with travel to Marshfield, Rhinelander & Medford Requirements: High School diploma Strong desire to work with children A minimum of one year experience working with children preferred Dental Assistant Certificate preferred Strong customer service skills and commitment to patient/parent satisfaction Must be able to communicate with co-workers and work as a team in order to maintain a steady flow Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with and educate parents Good hand eye coordination manual dexterity and precision Requires local travel to other First Impressions offices Basic computer and data entry skills Good time management skills
