PRN Nights & Weekend Hospice RN

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable PRN Nights & Weekend On-Call Hospice Clinician to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals receiving hospice services. This role is responsible for responding to after-hours calls, providing in-home visits as needed, and supporting patients and families during critical moments. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly to after-hours and weekend on-call requests Provide skilled nursing care and symptom management in patient homes or facilities Perform assessments and interventions to ensure patient comfort and safety Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members Document all patient interactions in a timely and accurate manner Provide emotional support and education to patients and caregivers Qualifications Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of MO Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (hospice or home health preferred) Strong assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Current CPR certification Preferred Qualifications Previous hospice or palliative care experience Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) Comfort with end-of-life care and family support
