About the Position: About the Position: This position will be filled using the Direct Hiring Authority (DHA) for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in Department of Defense (DoD). Major duties: Outline or discuss possible problem areas and defines objectives, plans, priorities, and deadlines; and provides assistance on controversial or unusual situations with no clear precedents.
Collect and analyze engineering data and makes sound engineering decisions or compromises for the purpose of operating, optimizing, adjusting, correcting, designing, improving, pollution control, and wastewater treatment. Apply a diversified and integrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, chemical, and industrial engineering technology, principles, and practices. Perform a variety of work relating to the area of specialization that requires the application of a considerable number of different basic but established methods, procedures, and techniques.
Responsible for the design, operation, maintenance, modification, test, and improvement of industrial facilities, equipment, devices, operations, and processes, some problematic and prototypical in nature. Education: FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S.
