See below for important information regarding this job. Major duties: Serves the technical authority and project integrator for modernization initiatives. Analyzes and resolves deep-seated, network-wide engineering and modernization conflicts. Serves as technical consultant and specialist to DLA Distribution concerning all aspects of industrial engineering and modernization. Leads cross-functional teams to deliver initiatives that introduce new technologies or digital capabilities.
Regularly reviews project progress and briefs senior leadership using standard DLA project protocols. Develops detailed specifications, drawings, and other engineering documents used to solicit contractor proposals for highly complex, large-scale systems. Education: Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
