The Watervliet Arsenal is an Army-owned and -operated manufacturing center located in New York. It is the oldest, continuously active arsenal in the United States having begun operations in 1813. Today it is relied upon by U.S. and foreign militaries to produce the most advanced, high-powered weaponry for cannon, howitzer, and mortar systems. The Arsenal is the only location in the DoD that has a weapons research facility (Benét Laboratories) collocated with a manufacturing facility (Arsenal).
Major duties: Plan and maintain administrative and automation support and execute operational, administrative and technical functions of the organization. Review and/or analyze technical and administrative communications to highlight trends, problem areas, and impact. Apply knowledge of methods, materials, machinery and facilities used in industrial production operations. Obtain technical information concerning production methods, materials, machinery, and facilities used in a manufacturing/industrial organization.
Education: FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S.
