About the Position: This position is located at WINN Army Medical Hospital, Fort Stewart, GA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Major duties: The incumbent independently performs day-to-day duties with the supervisor providing general guidelines regarding the nature of therapeutic activities and the program in general. Actively involved in the preparation of progressive treatment plans, utilizing the full range of occupational therapy modalities and the application of extensive judgment, observation, and treatment skills.
The treatment plan is designed to restore and maintain maximum range of motion, strength, endurance, coordination and relaxation in accordance with the OT evaluation and treatment plan. Tracks impact of procedures effects on patients, long- and short-term effects of different types of therapy, and appropriateness of a specific therapy, noting overall trends inefficacy, reporting problems to supervisors.
Education: FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S.
