About the Position: This is a Pharmacy Technician (Automation/Informatics) position located at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Major duties: Perform technical support duties. Assist the pharmacist in processing and managing all of the pharmacy’s software and hardware. Maintain records and analyze data for reporting or action. Provide preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic drug support systems involved in the filling of prescriptions.
Prepare production reports requested by the supervisor concerning work accomplishments and time expended. Implement, evaluate, and utilize established and accepted performance improvement practices for medication use. Education: FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S.
