The primary purpose of this position, Production Controller, NJ-1152-03 is to provide vital planning, scheduling, and supply support to the assigned work center. Direct depot maintenance programs, including the repair, overhaul, manufacture, and modification of complex weapon systems, aircraft, engines, missiles, and associated major end items.
Major duties: Apply knowledge and experience in the recurring manufacture, overhaul, or repair of products or projects using multiple process production methods and procedures to develop information necessary for the control of a complex product. Plan, organize, and oversee the activities of the organization, ensuring that logistics management related operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs.
Participate in special logistics related operation projects and initiatives and perform special assignments. Represent the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
